Clinical Reporting

Webinar

We are pleased to announce the launch of Clinical Reporting Tools. We are hosting a webinar to answer all your question and showcase the new reporting suite on Monday, June 22nd at 12pm. You can use this link to register.

Overview

Clinical Reporting is a CRISP HIE Portal application that delivers curated, dynamic reports and dashboards built on real-time clinical data — developed in direct partnership with state agencies, hospitals, primary care practices, and public health stakeholders across Maryland.

Unlike claims-based reporting, Clinical Reporting draws from HIE clinical data sources including ADTs, laboratory results, demographic data, SDOH assessments, and shared patient panels — giving organizations a more complete, timely picture of their patient populations. The dashboards offer insights into population health, quality of care, readmissions, health disparities, and value-based care outcomes, helping teams track care patterns, identify gaps, and support data-driven strategies to improve health outcomes.

A note on access:
Clinical Reporting is available to users whose: 1. Organization’s HIE Admin has provisioned access through the HIE Admin Tool and 2. Report POC assigned the appropriate reports via Reports Role Manager.

Key Features

  • Interactive Power BI Dashboards — Explore population data through dynamic, on-demand visualizations built on near real-time HIE clinical data, with daily refreshes and a two-year historical lookback.
  • Panel Demographic Reporting — Understand your attributed patient population across age, gender, race, ethnicity, language, and chronic conditions, with interactive filtering and drill-down across all dimensions.
  • Hospital Revisit Reporting — Track readmission patterns, revisit rates by initial hospital, patient class breakdowns, and discharge dispositions to support care transition strategies and reduce avoidable revisits.
  • Multi-Source Clinical Data — Reports draw from ADT feeds, lab results, CCD elements, SDOH assessments, and participant-shared patient panels, governed by HIE use cases.
  • Flexible Filtering and Drill-Down — Apply multiple filters simultaneously across demographics, time periods, and clinical categories to analyze specific subgroups within your population.
  • Role-Based Access Control — Organization POCs manage report access through Reports Role Manager, enabling precise control over which reports and dashboards users can view.
