 How does CRISP serve providers?

CRISP's objective is to serve as a trusted, unbiased resource on technology issues for the clinical community.  While in the short term adopting new technologies can feel disruptive, evidence shows that practices with an interoperable EHR can in important ways provide better, more efficient and effective care.

Get Started with an EHR

Our REC's team of Management Services Organizations (MSOs) can help you adopt EHRs, achieve meaningful use, and realize your Medicare or Medicaid incentives.  If you are a primary care practice with ten or fewer providers, you may qualify for free technical assistance.  View our MSO Directory.

Connect to the HIE

CRISP works to deliver patient health information electronically to the right place at the right time for all providers in Maryland. HIE can help physicians to make more informed treatment decisions; improve outcomes and efficiency; and achieve Federal and State incentives.  Click here to find out more…

Health IT Resource Bank

We have created a comprehensive set of resources to assist providers with the transition to EHRs.  Whether your practice is still paper-based or you are an advanced technology user, CRISP has assembled materials that can help.  Click here to visit the Health IT Resource Bank...

CRISP REC Quarterly Report

The REC program has developed a quarterly progress report. This document is intended to provide a general overview of the EHR adoption efforts across Maryland with which it is assisting. It may also be useful to providers as they select MSOs and software solutions for their own practices. Click here to view the Report

Go-Live Progress

CRISP has now fully enrolled its program, with more than 1,400 priority primary care providers participating. To date, more than 560 have gone live on an EHR and more than 45 have Attested to Meaningful Use -- follow the thermometer above to see their progress.  Click here to view a map of all practices participating in the REC program.
