Implementation Timeline
Our implementation timeline is approximately 10 weeks in duration from our initial ‘kick-off’ meeting to office use. Once your office has made the decision to partner with AAHS, we conduct an initial meeting to educate your staff of what to expect in the weeks ahead. We begin with understanding your current office workflow and work with you to identify members of your team that are experts in the office. These team members will ultimately be your super users and will meet with us to review content and validate system design particular to your office. Our team will support the transition to the AAHS Ambulatory EHR through regular communications, review sessions and end user training conducted on site, in your office. As we near your scheduled implementation date, we engage in preparing your office by training on abstraction and scanning of pertinent clinical information. We conduct a dress-rehearsal just prior to go-live to confirm all team members are well prepared with confidence for that first day.
A key benefit to using our EHR platform is the assurance that without disruption to normal operations, you will meet all requirements for meaningful use. In addition, by hosting the EHR at our Medical Center, you will not have to worry about securing and maintaining servers in your office.
